About Me
Hello! I'm Brittany Humbert, the founder of Palette Studios. Ever since I can remember, art has been my way of exploring the world—whether it was doodling in the margins of my notebooks or experimenting with new mediums, creativity has always been at the center of my life. My passion for art grew stronger over the years, leading me to pursue art education in college. But like many artistic journeys, mine took a different path than expected.
After nearly four years of college, I was told I couldn’t move forward in the teacher’s program due to GPA requirements. It felt like my dream of teaching art was slipping away. But my Art Advisor, Morgan Willingham, opened my eyes to the possibilities beyond traditional classrooms. Inspired by her encouragement, I decided to build my own path—and so, Palette Studios was born.
Through my experience teaching at the Emporia Art Center and Sacred Heart Elementary, I discovered my true calling: creating a space where people of all ages can experience the freedom to create, explore, and grow as artists. At Palette Studios, I strive to nurture creativity with intention and community spirit, providing not just art lessons, but a place where artists feel seen, valued, and inspired.
