Something is blossoming at Palette Studios and I am excited to share with you what is coming up in the next few months!

At Palette Studios, I (Brittany Humbert) am establishing a foundation to begin growing Palette Studios into the vision I have had for the last few years. It has taken some time to really be able to step forward in the direction I want to take Palette Studios. For months now I have talked about starting up art lessons again, establishing workshops for kids and adults throughout Emporia and partnering up with local businesses to make this vision a reality. 

Nerves have always held me back from moving forward. Fear has taken root when making these plans and setting dates for future workshops. "What if I am not good enough?", "What if I get laughed at or ridiculed", "What if this all fails...". Lots of "What ifs" huh? Well, after much thought and introspection, I came to the conclusion...life is short. We were sent here to Earth to experience life beyond our spiritual duty. What brings my spirit joy and excitement is art. Whether I am creating art, teaching art or learning about art; I am entranced. 

So what is happening at Palette Studios in the next few months? Well I will begin offering "Little Artist Workshops" and "Adult Workshops" weekly at specified times (check out the Workshops here!). Also, I will be partnering with Botanical Floral and Designs in hosting a Watercolor Floral Workshop on October 18th 2pm-4pm. Liz Shafer, owner of Botanical Floral & Designs has graciously accepted and is excited to host Palette Studios for this special workshop. She will be putting together a beautiful floral arrangement just for this workshop! I am so excited and I know she is as well! Stay tuned for future announcements for this workshop. Still working on setting up another workshop, "Life Drawing - A Rainbow of Love". This workshop will entail Beauty and Love that comes in all shapes and sizes! Since this will be a first for Palette Studios, this workshop will NOT have the models nude. This workshop is open to the Community of all ages to come and create a beautiful masterpiece and in sharing their interpretation of love for one another!

My ULTIMATE goal in this journey is to create a space for everyone to come and experience the joy in creating, learning and teaching each other tips and tricks when creating art. I hope that people will experience this at Palette Studios and I can't wait to see what becomes of this!
